We read every message and usually reply within a few working days. We write in English, and we can also read messages in most EU languages.
Reporting a calculation error
Corrections are the most useful message we receive. To help us check quickly, please include:
- the country and the amount you entered, and whether it was gross, net or employer cost;
- the answers you gave to the situation questions (household, children, age, region and any country-specific options), or simply the link from the calculator’s share button, which contains them;
- the result you expected and where it comes from, ideally a link to an official calculator, a payslip rule or the legal text.
We check each report against the source. If the calculator is wrong, we correct the country module, add a test for the case, and update the date the rules were checked.
Suggesting a missing rule
Each country page lists what the calculator does not include. If one of those circumstances matters to you, or if a rule has changed and the calculator does not reflect it yet, tell us and send the official source if you have it. Changes are added once they are law; see our methodology.
What we cannot do
We cannot give individual tax, payroll or legal advice, review a personal payslip or file a tax return. For questions about your own situation, contact the tax authority or social security institution of the country concerned, your employer’s payroll department, or a qualified adviser.
Your privacy
Emails are used only to answer you and to fix the issue you report. We do not add you to any list. The calculator itself sends nothing you type to us; see the privacy page.
